Founder story

Carl Pellegrino is the founder and director of VPass which is a visitor registration and management system designed for tablet kiosks (iOS and Android). When Covid happened, VPass faced an interesting challenge. Many customers that were using VPass were concerned with their visitors touching the kiosks when signing in and out as this was not the safest practise anymore. So, they need to reimagine the app and make it a true contactless system emerged. Carl worked with Appomate to redesign and redevelop the system to create a QR code feature so organisations could provide their visitor’s with the option to use their smartphones to Sign In and Out in a touchless manner.
