One of their successful products was Vpass, a visitor registration and management system - iPad app run on kiosks. When Covid happened, Vpass faced an interesting challenge. Many visitors touching the kiosks at educational institutions (Vpass clients) is not the safest practise anymore. So, they need to reimagine the app and make it a touchless system. Carl worked with Appomate to redesign and redevelop the system based on a QR code system so the educational institutions can reply on the visitor’s smartphones to run their visitor management process and system in a touchless manner.
