After stepping away from a career in marketing to focus on motherhood, Eliza Mulhall discovered a passion for entrepreneurship. During her maternity leave, she recognised a significant gap in the dating market for single parents like her friends, who struggled to find partners understanding their unique lifestyle and responsibilities. Inspired to create a solution, Eliza founded Spark App to provide a supportive and inclusive platform tailored specifically for single parents looking to reignite their personal lives without compromising their family responsibilities.

Challenge

The primary challenge was developing a platform catering to single parents, who often face time constraints and concerns about safety and privacy. Additionally, there was a need to overcome the stigma often associated with single parenting in the dating world. The app required a design that was not only user-friendly but also instilled a sense of security and trust among its users.
